That’s all I have to say about that.

That’s way too much, and i’m sure it’s not half as good to drive as if they have stopped halfway here. Upgrading the running gear with modern stuff, lowering a bit, making it sportier, add better rubber - by all means. Especially if you are adding horses to the engine too. But this... this is just for show. And I’m sorry, but old Alfas are at least as much about the drive as about the looks, so this is basically ruined.

Looks cool though, i give you that.

It’s got an Alfaholics GTA-R suspension and 400hp under the hood. It’s not for looks.

Yeah I thought they didn’t just cut the springs :-) anyway, i don’t really feel it would be good to drive, or as fast as it could be.

I mean, with a full-tilt race suspension and 400hp I’m pretty sure it would make for an exhilarating ride.

Barking up the wrong tree around here. If it says stance works, it’s automatically trash, regardless of build quality, speed, etc. I think it’s great, though.

I’m not sure how I feel about this. On the one hand, I like this style on old Japanese cars as long as it’s not at the expense of function. And visually, this thing is a knockout. I’ve even considered a similar style for my 2002, if I ever finish it. And it doesn’t have ludicrous camber, so maybe it is properly functional on some level. On the other hand, I know how well these drive stock & lightly modified, and they really are magical, so it seems a little sacrilegious to do this to one. The feels, they are conflicted. But our opinion doesn’t matter, and if the owner likes it, cool.

I get that, and no, I’m not against molesting it per se. I just think it would be even better if it wasn’t so outrageous. I happen to think race-ready classics seldom wear welded deep-dish steel wheels with a camber so harsh, only half the absolutely oversize rubber meets the ground. These also have some sort of suspension travel too, mostly so that they can cover ground fast, and don’t have to slow down for every speedhump and pothole. In short, I’m thinking something more restrained would actually be more fun to drive.

All I’m saying is it’s pleasing to my eye and I would totes drive it. Then again I usually don’t keep anything stock for too long anyway.
